Bored? This virus thing is starting to be a real pain in the ass. For the last two years I've ignored my WW fans and have been adapting my novels into screenplays and trying to market them to what the business calls 'indie producers'. So what's the problem? Barrett frowned as he left.

"You know what they are?"

"I could tell that part. How do we get them?"
"We?"

Wonder Woman sat on a branch of the large oak tree that stood about thirty feet from the barn. The full moon lit the yard below her and the deserted farm house of Brenda Springer. Suddenly, the cool night air began to grow stronger. Wonder Woman shifted to her haunches as leaves and other debris in the yard below her began to swirl in a circle. A white light appeared in the center of the circle as the wind blew stronger and stronger. The light became bigger and brighter as the whirlwind below her now blew Wonder Woman's dark mane of black hair back behind her.

A red and yellow flame spurt out from the center of the whirlwind and the circumference of the circle burned with yellow flames, and then the first Goblin emerged from the portal. The short ugly demon was powerfully built and carried a heavy wooden club over his shoulder. He looked around, sniffed the air, and stepped forward. He waved his hand motioning for others to follow, and they did. A dozen more of the middle earth creatures followed carrying clubs and spears. They all wore loincloths and nothing else. They spread out and formed a circle as they peered out into the darkness looking for their prey. Finally, an older Goblin with gray skin and a monk's hooded robe stepped out of the portal. He carried a staff with a shrunken horned head on top.
A Shaman. Wonder Woman thought. I should have known.
The Shaman stepped into the circle of Goblins, sniffed the air, and shouted, "Come out Amazon, our business here won't take long."
That's for sure. Wonder Woman mused.
The magic lasso flew through the air like a bullet and wrapped around the neck of the nearest Goblin. As Wonder Woman jumped from the tree the Goblin flew through the air and then dangled from the tree branch Wonder Woman had been on.
All the Goblins turned toward the super heroine and took a ready position.
"You like to hang things, so do I."
The Shaman looked at the Goblin as he choked to death. He raised his arms in the air as he looked at Wonder Woman, "This is the Wonder Woman men, the Champion of the Amazons."
"And who are you, little man."
"I am Krondo, Shaman to all Goblins."
"Does King Fabage know that you're here? That you've violated the treaty with this portal?"
"Fabage? Hmmm...Fabage, that name seems familiar...wait...I've got it, King Fabage, right."
Wonder Woman's stare at Krondo was fixed and threatening. She was having no part of Krondo's posturing.

"Well coincidently, right after he died last month and I opened the portal to Earth, I discovered that there were two artifacts here that hold a great deal of power. That rope and your belt, bitch."

Wonder Woman released the lasso and the dead Goblin fell to the ground with a sickening thump. She pulled the lasso into her hand. "Well, here they are, why don't you come over here and get them."
"Get her men!" Krondo ordered.
The twelve Goblins charged at Wonder Woman from all sides. The first one took a kick in the face that would have flattened a mule, it broke his neck. The next two leaped at her wielding their clubs, but the Amazing Amazon leaped over them and threw the lasso tightening it around their waists and cinching them together. She used the two lassoed Goblins as a weapon swinging the mind controlled lasso with pinpoint accuracy and hurling the two into two others head on head. Four more dead Goblins as bloody bodies began to pile up.
Now three of the Goblins attacked Wonder Woman in unison, one from each side and one from behind. A right side kick broke the skull of the first one, but the one from behind jumped up onto her back and placed her in a naked strangle hold. Diana returned the lasso to the belt as she reached up to pull the Goblin's arms from around her throat.

The two lumbered over to Wonder Woman who turned her head quickly to check on the six Goblins, they were still out from her bracelet's energy burst. She turned back to the Orcs. "You should not be fighting for him. He is in violation of the treaty."
